A House of Representatives committee hearing descended into chaos after the chair refused to allow evidence. Jim Jordan repeatedly denied Democrat politicians' requests to hear from 'whistleblowers' in the House Judiciary Committee hearing on what has been described as the 'weaponisation' of the FBI for political ends. Shouting can be seen and heard across much of the Committee floor as members become increasingly angry with one another. The FBI targeted pro-life groups, Catholics, and parents attending school board meetings with investigations in an effort to "inflate" the sense that they were a domestic terrorism threat, according to new whistleblower reports. House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, detailed the reports in a Thursday morning news conference just minutes before three FBI whistleblowers were scheduled to testify before the committee. Jordan described allegations from the whistleblowers that the FBI's Washington, D.C., office pressured the rest of the organization toward a political agenda. Republican Congressman Jim Jordan is still trying to do Donald Trump's bidding, even though Trump has no power within the government. Jordan sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland last week demanding information about the individuals that are involved in the agency's investigation into Trump, a request that makes absolutely no sense and is seemingly irrelevant to the work being done. But Jordan has ulterior motives in exposing these individuals, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains. House judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan is once again trying to do Donald Trump's bidding from the House of Representatives. Late last week, Jim Jordan sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, demanding that the DOJ answer some questions and turn over some material about the ongoing special prosecutor investigation into Donald Trump. But they weren't asking for the evidence, right? I mean, Jim Jordan knows, like, I can't get the evidence from them, I can't get the witness list. So instead, Jim Jordan asked Merrick Garland, put a list together for me. Would you, of all of the FBI agents that have worked on this Trump investigation, I just wanna see who they are, right? Because that's totally relevant to anything Jim Jordan's doing. I mean, just the names of the people doing the investigation. Why would you need that? What does that have to do with any kind of judiciary committee oversight of the federal government? That that doesn't make sense at all? Unless you remember how I started this, which is that Jim Jordan is trying to do Donald Trump's bidding. The reason Jim Jordan wants a list of the FBI agents that have been working on this investigation is because Trump wants a list of the agents that have been working on this investigation. And we know that because just about a week ago, Donald Trump's allies told reporters that, yeah, he's working on, uh, basically purging the doj when he gets back into office, he's gonna fire anybody that ever investigated him. And Jim Jordan is trying to go to, uh, you know, his job in Congress and say, Hey Donald, don't worry buddy. I'm gonna go ahead and have a list ready for you so you know exactly who to fire. And the funniest part about this is that Jim Jordan, the idiot from Ohio, is trying to disguise this as related to some kind of legislative effort. Because as we all know now, based on multiple different court cases, you know, some with Democrats, some with Republicans, if you can show the courts that you have a legitimate legislative purpose, then you can get your hands on basically anything. Now, it'll be a while before we get to the court part of this, because first, the DOJ has to refuse, then Jim Jordan would have to issue a subpoena. Then the DOJ would have to neglect or ignore the subpoena. Then they can challenge it in court. But Jim Jordan's already already got his ducks in a row there for that, cuz he says, quote, public trust in the FBI is low. Recent examples of political bias and FBI and Department of Justice operations show that the so-called corrective measures the FBI instituted after Crossfire hurricane, have done nothing to address, let alone cure the institutional rot that pervades the fbi. It is clear that Congress must consider legislative reforms to the F B I and the committee has been engaged in robust oversight to inform those legislative proposals. In the interim, however, due to the FBI's documented political bias, the Justice Department must ensure that any ongoing investigations are not poisoned by the same politicization. That's why he wants the list of, uh, you know, all those agents investigating Donald Trump, right? No, you want it so that Donald Trump not only has the list of people to fire, but possibly so that Donald Trump can go out there, blast their names out on true social and make their lives a living hell. That's what you're trying to do, Jim Jordan, you're very transparent. You're not very smart. Everybody understands what it is you are trying to do.
